We are currently looking for a professional and experienced individual to fill the role of SQL Developer. Reporting to the Corporate Technology Manager, the successful applicant will become an integral part of the growing IT Department with MTE Logistix.
The SQL Developer will be the main point of contact for the implementation of a new WMS software using Oracle Linux as a platform. Creation of SSRS Reports and SSRS Documents using Microsoft Report Builder. Maintenance and development of our in-house developed software using C#, ASP.NET and Java is also needed.
We are looking for a qualified individual with 2-3 years of related experience to support our team now and in the future as we navigate a new ERP implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and optimize SQL queries from Oracle database
- Analyze existing SQL queries for performance and security
- Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements
- Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables
- Develop procedures and scripts for data migration
- Provide timely scheduled management reporting
- Maintain existing SQL proprietary application
- Write sound, efficient, and proper SQL statements ensuring stability, reliability, and performance of databases
- Prepare reports and other documentation on the maintenance of the database
- Troubleshoot database issues related to data and permissions • Profile server resource usage, and optimize and tweak as necessary
- Identify and communicate technical problems, processes and solutions
Requirements:
- Excellent understanding of Oracle SQL Server - proficiency with SQL coding, creating reports, and running queries in Excel and MS Access
- Familiar with ASP.NET C#, Java, Java Script, HTML5, Visual Basic, VB Script, C++,
- Advanced Microsoft Power BI Development
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Related post secondary education or equivalent experience and on the job training
- Highly motivated and able to work under pressure and comfortable with tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments
This position is full-time and operates on a Monday through Friday daytime schedule. As the selected candidate will be responsible for providing support to multiple locations across the west end of Edmonton, a valid class five drivers license and your own transportation are required.

This position reports directly to the warehouse supervisor.

Starting wage is $18.82 per hour. Part-time day shift either 4-days/week @ 8 hours/day or 5-days/week @ 6.5 hours/day in our Edmonton, Alberta locations. Extra hours may be offered, potential work on weekends and statutory holidays may be required.

MTE Logistix is currently looking to add a Warehouse Dispatch Coordinator to its existing team of professionals. The Warehouse Dispatch Coordinator accepts all appointment booking requests, prioritizes all client orders, books all delivery appointments, and organizes all receiving and shipping paperwork.
Duties:- Coordinate and book inbound/ outbound transportation and complete all daily appointment logs
- Greet and direct drivers to assigned dock door and communicate new pick-up/delivery with warehouse, receive and review all packing slips/waybills
- Accept pick tickets/bills of lading, sort & prioritize for warehouse staff and communicate rush orders
- Receive and review all packing slips/waybills
- Provide information by answering questions
- Maintain operations by following policies and procedures; report needed changes
